The UK Forum for Multi-Professional Critical Care Outreach,
Medical Emergency, Acute and Rapid Response Teams

Welcome to the
National Outreach Forum

The National Outreach Forum (NOrF) was founded back in 2004 by a group of enthusiastic professionals involved with the first Critical Care Outreach Teams. Since then it has evolved into a multi-professional interest group that seeks to promote excellence in the care of acutely unwell patients.

NOrF provides a representative forum for Critical Care Outreach, Rapid  and Acute and Rapid Response teams, service providers and recipients across the country who strive to optimise the quality of care for the deteriorating and acutely ill  patients, their management and experience.

NATIONAL OUTREACH FORUM / PATIENT SAFETY CONGRESS 2019

Dates for your diary 2nd-3rd July 2019

Following the success of the Rapid Response / Patient Safety Congress July 2018,  we are pleased to announced that the National Outreach Forum will be collaborating with the Patient Safety Congress for the 2019 NOrF Conference.

More information available here

The National Outreach Forum is sponsoring the Deteriorating Patient and Rapid Response Patient Safety Award 2019 at the congress.

Patient Safety Awards recognise, reward and thank the hard-working teams and individuals who, in these times of austerity, pay restraints and workforce shortages are having to work harder and under more pressure. It is a testament to the sector that the safety and care of patients is still the primary driver, and our NHS continues to be the global leader in safety. In that context, it’s important to showcase the successes of all those involved in patient safety.

More information about the Patient Safety Awards available here.
