introduction of 24/7 CCOS

Hi! I realise this is not a new subject, but wondered if anyone has recently been tasked with writing a business case for a 24/7 CCOS? What were the outcome measures used? Plus was it for a DGH or tertiary referral centre? How many in the team for 24/7? and do you use NOrF competencies? have you introduced or thinking of introducing advanced critical care practitioners? and if yes how are you doing this?

Look forward to hearing from those who been successful in this and anyone who has any ideas they would be happy to share.

    Many thanks in advance. Debs

    Hi there

We've been 24/7 for >10 years by now (Reading) and we're now in the process of developing Critical Care Outreach Advanced Nurse Practitioners - happy to chat if you want.

    Hi Karin

Would it be possible to chat further in how you were able to implement the ACCP programme? and also any tips on selling/influencing a Trust to invest in 24/7 Critical Care Outreach?
